Breathing Under Water: A Spiritual Study of the Twelve Steps
April 12, by dianescholten. The 12 Steps are the central river of my own spirituality which has many tributaries running towards it — Unity, Buddhism, etc. I think he was an inspired genius — each time I read his writing I am struck anew with the depth and breadth of his insights. I had recently read Falling Upward by Richard Rohr, and after I wrote about it in the blog, my friend Cathy suggested this book. Richard Rohr is a Franciscan priest and so I had expected, first in Falling Upward, but most certainly in this book, that he would be superimposing Catholic theology onto the topic at hand. And yet, from much practice and reiteration and the testimony of many wiser than I, I do get that this is the very heart of my spiritual path.
Richard Rohr continues to guide us to greater wholeness. The latest example is his new book, Breathing Under Water. A prolific writer, his books have helped countless souls, especially those who struggle with issues of brokenness and seek transformation. Visit cac. Would you like to tell us about a lower price?
